Data Source
All weather data comes from the Open-Meteo Historical Weather API - a free, open-data service powered by ERA5 reanalysis data from the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF). This is the same underlying dataset used by researchers and meteorologists worldwide.
Open-Meteo requires no API key, charges no fees, and is available for both commercial and non-commercial use. We use it to provide real, accurate historical weather averages for any US latitude/longitude coordinate.
Who Uses This Data
Our users include farmers planning planting schedules, event planners choosing outdoor dates, contractors assessing weather risk, travelers researching destinations, real estate buyers comparing climates, and insurance adjusters documenting historical conditions.
Accuracy Notice
All data represents historical climate averages and is intended for planning purposes only. This is not a weather forecast service. Always check current forecasts from NOAA or the National Weather Service before making weather-dependent decisions.
